There are a variety of side gigs out there and ways to make extra money. You can start a blog, sell spare organs, deliver pizzas, do Door Dash or GrubHub or if you have an extra $2 million dollars laying around buy a McDonalds. You can buy property or write a best selling novel. You can come up with the next big superhero and try to get him into the next Avengers movie.
There are going to be challenges to each one. The main commonality is the majority don’t make it big and most are the starving artists or starving bloggers. I know a person making $137,000 a month making money blogging. How do they do it? Well, they sell 1,000 courses each month for $137 each. The course is “How to make money by blogging.”
The most affordable, lowest investment, option that has the best training available and the best potential for return on investment is actually joining a Network marketing business. If you can overcome the stigma from keeping you from really understanding this business model, you will know why billionaires like Warren Buffet endorse Network Marketing. And when you understand it’s not a get rich quick scheme, you will understand why the Jimmy Buffets of this world mock it.
People criticize Network marketing because they assume it to be a scam. They tend to knee-jerk reject any side gig opportunity usually for 3 reasons-
1) They tried one before because they were told they could make $10,000 a month with little effort and were sadly disappointed.
2) Their broke brother-in-law (who listens to Jimmy Buffet) talked them out of it
3) As soon as they instantly see any type of pyramid or multi level comp plan, they just call it a pyramid scheme and think everyone above them makes all the money- when in reality if they do join they offended it’s NOT a pyramid scheme as they didn’t expect it to be real work.
About the pyramid scheme claim- Every business, the government, your church, Wal Mart, and the girl scouts break down into a pyramid if you map them out. But only in Network marketing can those the bottom out earn those above them. It truly rewards activity and production. Most people will lose money- like most people blogging or most people at the Comedy Club hoping to get discovered – but with any sales company etc the majority give up and don’t follow the training and have wrong expectations. The majority quit and give up 6 feet from gold. And most people tell you NO – no matter what you have- whether it’s a cream or God’s gift of salvation.
That doesn’t make them scams- people just are people.
The big obstacle with most network marketing is you tend to market expensive products that are really nothing that original and you can similar items cheaper on Amazon- and eventually most people cancel their autoship / monthly membership which means the promise of residual income never sticks around for long- and that is the appeal- for long term residual income that keeps coming like a pension. The only ones who keep buying when the cupboards are full are the ones who just buy the dream- and not the cream.
BUT it is possible with Service based. Energy- wireless- home security- services you are already budgeted for them anyway . If you can save money- and earn tax benefits – by leveraging money you already plan on spending but flipping it into a business – why not take advantage of it?
I have a service based side gig I run on an app though my phone. You see legit savings and legit tax benefits- I helped a few folks make an extra $1000-3000 last year but this year I am helping people make that much or more.
So if you want a legit side income – let me know. It’s $99 to join for the next 30 hours or so- 1/2 price- until tomorrow at midnight. But if you miss that promotion, no worries. We can make you 1/2 your start up investment back fairly quickly.
And if you already have one but need tips and strategies to build on or off line, let me know.
My WHY is to ultimately fully fund an addiction ministry with it. That is possible with a service based network marketing company.
