Something I learned —
Do you WORK VERY HARD at your at-home business or SIDE HUSTLE BUT don’t get the results you WANT?
Consider ONE possible explanation –
You might not be balanced in your BUSINESS.
I am aiming for balancing my time in 4 areas –
1) Prospecting – That is when YOU reach out to people
2) Marketing – That is PEOPLE reaching out to YOU
3) Follow Up – 90% of business is LOST by failing to circle back
4) Personal Development – You need to constantly improve, ADD volume, increase your expertise, etc.
In Social Media marketing, if you just do marketing, you can end up completely tied up creating content, responding to comments, and trying to look good.
If you prospect endlessly but don’t follow up, you can end up with a ton of cliffhanging prospects who didn’t tell you no- but didn’t tell you YES.
If you are in constant follow-up mode, you may come across as desperate and pushy.
And if you are in endless training mode, you will never feel you know enough and you won’t see clarity until you take action. When you are moving, you can switch gears and directions. When you are stuck in park, you can spin your tires all day and not go anywhere.
Which of these 4 areas do you tend to get bogged down the most?
What would balance do for your results?
