I actually want to change my “slogan” to Saving on Bills AND your dependence on pills.
Not that we are “Addicted” in this sense, BUT inflation is causing high high stress these days AND high stress causes all kinds of health problems. Help remove the stress, and we will be healthier for sure.

The inflation nation has affected all of us. I address this in an older blog post called “What’s your Plan?” and here are the inflation statistics you need to know –
“Inflation is not going to go away. It’s not something that can be fixed from an election at this point. They passed the point of no return here. It’s like if your child squeezed 1/2 the toothpaste out of the tube to paint the bathroom wall- there’s no fixing what is already done. That tube is now performing at 50% no matter how hard you squeeze it.
40% of all BILLS printed by the US TREASURY were printed during the Pandemic. FORTY PERCENT. Four- tee-per-cent. We are at 8% annual rate of inflation which means $1000 today will be worth less than $500 in 9 years. (THIS WILL NOT BE FIXED IN NOVEMBER!)
Is your job going to pay you double by then? If you are a pharmacist like I am, you are lucky if your salary hasn’t gone down while you are doing double the work you did 10 years ago. If it gets any worse, they may cancel those Corporate Pharmacy Pizza Parties they like to give instead of raises.
Will you even have a job?
Will you be able to afford retirement? Can you really count on social security to still be there?
Will you be able to cut your expenses in 1/2 by then?

I believe it will be too late, if we wait. Full disclosure- right now I am stuck and if things don’t change I won’t be retiring until 6 months after my funeral. As a man, to not be able to provide, despite working 28 of 30 days this month while filling 3x-10X the volume you did prescription wise when you first got out of school is a tough PILL to swallow – and yesterday we did 1,021 scripts at the pharmacy I work at and I was rewarded with 2 free slices of pizza, seriously. Two slices is not even a Corporate Pizza Party.
I am really unable to cover all the bills as a full time licensed pharmacist BUT I am also too stubborn to ask for help. I’m like, maybe there is an overnight gig I can do once a month. Maybe I can clone myself and send him to work. Maybe I can instead sell a kidney. But then you always get strange questions- why are you selling a kidney? And awkwardly, who’s kidney is it and where did you get it from? Yikes.
See, knowing others struggle without a pharmacist license makes it feel wrong to sell anything or expect you to help me when you need help too. But I need help and you need help so here is my win-win- I propose a plan instead- because I know many many many are in the same boat as I am and it’s quickly sinking, so I propose a win win with upside down help.
I have complied what I term collectively as some UPSIDE DOWN FUND RAISERS – these are programs that will legitimately put money back in your pocket if you will take the time to help me. Like the Geico lizard and 10 minutes could save you 10% , 10 minutes could put funds in your piggy bank. And these aren’t the Amway programs that have you buy overpriced junk and if you find 6 others to buy overpriced junk and they find 6 each to buy overpriced junk, then you will make lots of money. No, each is either FREE or you easily save more than you spend.
I am a pharmacist- I have spent 20 years giving recommendations. That is really all I do here- I have recommendations for you to make or save money and if you follow it you will get less stress which means less pills when you get help with your bills.
I will simply share a few ways you can do that and then I will share the links.
